Not good
On booking the carts were to have GPS, I am still looking for it. Having said that there were VERY few distance markers in the fairways. Staff were excellent, very friendly. Greens, although the grass was green were hard as a rock. This venue could be a very good course but a lot of money would have to be spent for it to be a better track and I don’t think they are willing to do so. Altogether it only rates a 2 to 3 star.
Average Golf Course
“Very” slow check in ❗️People lined up out the pro shop door. Lady couldn’t get the computer to allow an angry guy his tee time and commenced to hold everyone else to stand and wait for over 15 minutes.
I would have left but prepaid thru Golf Now..One guy walked out and said cancel my tee time because he got sick of waiting!
They have a long way to go if they want to be a top notch course on the Bullhead City side or anywhere in Arizona.
Will not return❗️
Too Much Hardpan
Things started off on the wrong foot when the lady in the pro shop told my partner he had to wear a collared shirt. He returned to the car and got one. On the first hole we spotted four people wearing tee shirts.
The fairways (the green areas) are quite narrow. They are bordered by hardpan akin to actual concrete. The bunkers are hardpan and gravel and we decided to not risk our clubs by trying to hit out of them. The greens were fine, though.
We were able to have long conversations with the group in front of us as we had to wait together on every tee,
I don’t expect to return to this course.
Nice course
Greens were excellent. Tee boxes and fairways were average. Pace was slow. A 4some, followed by two 2somes and then a 3 some. Had to wait on most shots. Would have been better if they had put the 2somes out as a 4some. Having said that, we did enjoy the course and will play again. Staff were excellent.
Same old same old
Slow Check in 10-15 minutes!! Slow getting carts because 6 carts ( 3 groups) in the corral waiting to go. Moved our cart a little closer to putting green while we waited to putt, got yelled at and told there’s 2 groups in front of you, which also happened last time we came here!! Need to allow carts out of corral and closer to putting green!! Greens small and slow. Tee boxes not cut!! Won’t be back!!
Huukan Golf
First time at course. Staff very organized and friendly for check in and starting.
Clubhouse open for pre game meal and drink but was closed at end of round 5 pm
Course was ok got very windy which made it less enjoyable. Greens were slower than previous corses we played
Happy Golfers
Course was in good shape, greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play was fast.
From 2 years ago to now
We played the course many times a couple of years ago.
Overall, the condition is better now from tee to green. The tell tale sign a course is too tight is the number of safety nets that are lining the fairway on this course. Beyond that, the layout is pretty good with a mix of interesting holes without being “tricked-up”.
The traps have the most sand I’ve seen at any course in the area.
The staff is always friendly and attentive.
They wouldn’t let us on because of collared shirts. When 90% of golf shirts nowadays are un collared. And this course is definitely not worth $70.
