Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
Power Ranch
I really enjoyed this course, it was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tee boxes, fairways, and sand traps were very good. The greens were in over-all very good shape , but a little slow. The roughs were bad in spots but we just had a lot of rain last week.
Over-all I really enjoyed the course, and had a lot of fun playing it. I will play it again soon.
Way Ovetpriced
This is a $50-60 course that’s charging over$100 right not. Bad value for the money. Lone tree, whirlwind and even Lad Colinas are better options in this area.
This is my final review for GolfPass...
I play over 100 times a year and always submit reviews. If you request my opinion, you will get it. However, my reviews change nothing. It's always the same. I complain about the outrageous pricing of golf in the Phoenix area and the slow play on almost every course, but nothing happens. So, no more reviews. Let the buyer beware. There is nothing better than paying well over a $150 per person for a 4.5 to 5 hour round of golf.
Great shape
Golf course was in great shape. Unfortunately, the day I played was cart path only for the final day. Pace of play was slow because of the cart path but it was still ok. Fairways and green are excellent. Cart lady came around often. Overall, it was a good course. Definitely recommend.
Very nice layout
Greens: great shape and fun. Very consistent.
Fringe: little thick and rough
Fairways: precut for over seeding. Easy to hit off of.
Rough: prided the price if you missed the fairways. Grass was very thick and took the club right out of your hands.
When we started the round there were two bottles of water in the ice chest. There was no water to refill the bottles. It was approximately 96 degrees and that is not a safe amount of water. We were able to get extra water at the turn because we asked for it.
Would recommend this course.
Great Place
This place sets the standard for what golf should be. Good conditions especially for time of year & fairly priced. A couple corky holes that could use a little more definition & care. Other than that, it is a great course with nice carts & a good restaurant.
The pace of play was great, finished in 4 hrs.
The sand traps (concrete) need sand. I know they are all getting a facelift over the summer as will the greens, so can't complain too much.
