Course Description:
This facility has two spectacular eighteen hole courses. The courses feature wide-open, Tifdwarf grass fairways with beautiful large bent-grass greens. The Talon Course offers elevated greens that are large and undulating, with numerous water hazards coming into play as well as one hole with an island green. Golf Digest rated the Talon course in their top 75 and the Raptor course as the 81st best under the 1996 category of "Top 100 You Can Play". Both courses offer a myriad of panoramic views encompassing the McDowell Mountains and the Phoenix Valley.

    Just finished playing this course last week...weather was perfect, but the course is far from it and greatly overrated. Both my brother and I, 9/10 handicappers, were unimpressed with the course overall. We had people in front of us who slowed us down, and people behind us hot on our tails. The T boxes were pretty beaten up ad the fairways were particularly unspectacular. I would be hard pressed to ever consider playing this course again. I know Golf Digest rated this course as a top 100....but apparently a lot has changed since that recommendation came out in 1996...that was over 13 years ago! Don't be fooled by decade+ old accolades. Look elsewhere my friends.
