Course layout is very nice with rolling hills and challenging holes. Main drawbacks are the pace of play and bunker conditions. Plamer manages course and puts too many people out on the course too close together. Combine that with next to nil marshaling and it makes for very long rounds, especially on weekends. Bunkers throughout the course are not very well maintained and are either like cement or a playgroud sandbox. This could be a first class facility if these items could be addressed.
Hit a ball, have a ball. Carmel Valley Ranch Golf Course, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Pete Dye, offers breathtaking views of the valley, and is fun for golfers of all skill levels. Now enjoy unlimited play during your stay.
