Oak marsh at Amelia Island Plantation - Resort

3000 FirSt Coast Hwy
Amelia Island, Florida 32034
Nassau County
904-261-6161

Course Description:
This beautiful facility is noted for it's excellent conditioning and rated among the top 25 courses in the state by top golf publications.

The fairways are tight, with thick vegetation lining many holes, especially around the greens. The greens here are very large with several in excess of 10,000 square feet.

The front nine wanders through oak hammocks and tall pines. The back side has more ponds and marshes.

Celeb Watch: look out for Lee Majors and Jacksonville Jaguar players - both frequent the course. The course hosted the 1998 Liberty Mutal Legends of Golf Tournament.

Length is not a problem here. The Oysterbay and Oakmarsh combine for 6,502 yards from the championship tees. The problem is keeping your the ball in play. The fairways are tight and the greens are small but not too difficult to putt.
