Boca Lago Country Club - East Course

Beautiful course and layout. Nice pool/bar area, however they close down at 4:30 on a beautiful sunday afternoon. We wanted to grab a bite to eat after our round and it was closed! They could use more signage as it was confusing where to go.

Very good course, conditions very good. Greens were all different speeds..overall, great course, layout very challenging, definitely will be back

Lots of water and trees since no topo. Solid private 27 hole course that allows outside play. Starter was very accommodating and played in under 3 hours as a single on a Saturday.

Full course, slow pace of play. Other groups rude and harassed constantly regardless that there was no chance to proceed faster. Ranger could be more knowledgeable and up to current golf etiquette. Do not recommend this course. Unfortunate since the actual course was in great condition.

Overall the course is short but the challenges of the layout makes up for the lack of distance.

Slowwww pace. If you can hit the ball more than 215yds, leave the driver in the bag. Most of the holes are L-shape, 90 degree turn at 225yds, very thin fairways. They basically built the course around the outside of the community. So it’s very square. $69 for a “summer rate” is kind of ridiculous as well.

not worth the money, also tried banging me for another range ball fee. greens were s l o w .... maybe an 8.
then took my own bag off to bring to the car, great country club experience that will last me a life time. you can play 2 better courses for this price and most likely get your clubs wiped down after the round.

So I had an 8:42am tee time this morning. Got to course around 8am and went to check in at the Pro Shop when things took a turn for the worse. After telling them I had the tee time I was told that there was a 9am tournament and best they could do was to get me out around 1:45pm. Couple things; why did no one call me about this? I live 35 minutes away from course so pretty frustrating. And the icing on the cake was how absurdly rude the old guy at the register was. Took no responsibility and pretty much started an argument with me. Only positive thing I could say was that the lady working with the old guy was very nice and apologetic. It’s like the two of them were filming an HR/Customer Service commercial for what not to do vs. what to do.

Great condition, wonderful pace of play, good band for the buck

Very nice course, a little pricey for a round of golf but the course is very well maintained and enjoyable. I would recommend it here. Request to play the South and East courses. The west course is nice also, but a little shorter with some additional par 3s. There is also a nice driving range at no extra cost and a poolside bar for some drinks and food after your round.
