good variety
a good variety of holes, only had 2 tees boxes for men, and one for the ladies. course was in good shape, greens were slower than we were accustomed to. Not busy so could play at your own pace.
Played there in HS
A lot of fun...great value...Nice fairways, greens, and fringes.
good course in good condition. Greens were is great shape but very SLOW.
good well-managed course. Not as interesting as most Don Ross designs.
Nice place to play
Sand traps leave a lot to be desired. Overall, the course is a pleasure to play. Most always a breeze off the Halifax River, even on your hotest days.... Enjoy!
It's a fun course.
Was a fun course check in was easy, and there pro shop has everything ! The course was short but was in good shape, greens were slow.
This is a public course we play every year.
Being a public course does not diminish the care this course receives. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Some tee platforms uneven but easy to work around. Bunkers are in need of sand. Pro shop staff super friendly.
chalenging course
we had a great time course was challenging for 2 of us everyone was very nice course was in great shape. lunch at clubhouse was wonderful with great service. we will defenitly be playing more at daytona thanks for a wonderful course
Great value
This course was in good shape. We played at a very comfortable pace, Great price on Golf Now! Would recommend for any level of experience.
municipal course at its best
Busy but play was smooth, open area but some challenge to every hole.Course was wet but playable.
Real fun Municipal course
Real fun Municipal course. Fairways fairly well carpeted. Greens medium paced & in better shape than the North course. Cart paths in need of repair. Carts w/ windshields & rain covers in bag for bags. Over all a fun course to play. Will play again.
south course in very good shape, pace great, friendly staff
teed off after 3.30pm yet never worried about finishing before dark; windy conditions at first but greens held good & got faster on the back 9, you can score good here if you bring your game
I always look forward to playing here when I am in town
I was paired up with 3 locals, and had a great time. Pace of play was good, about 3 1/2 hrs. I've got a friend coming down for a few days, and this is one of the places I'm taking him.
Donald Ross design
The fairways are wide and the greens were in graet shape. Daytona had one of its few cold snaps this weekend so the course was not busy and we flew through. There were a few patchy spots in the fairways where the warm winter had killed off some of the overseed but all in all well worth it.
Easy, Open Course
If you're a casual golfer like me ("hacker") this may be the course to make you feel a little better about your game.
The course is wide open with very little water and if you're going to hit your ball out of bounds you really have to make an effort to do so. It's reasonably well maintained, and the South Course is generally less crowded than the more popular North Course.
I thought our price of $34 including tax was just about at the limit of what I'd want to pay to play this course, but I did shoot a lower score than I'm used to so perhaps I got my money's worth!
Pretty straight forward course except for the trains.
After playing the North Course, the South doesn't have the same beauty. It plays shorter than I expected and had few really difficult holes. It is a very playable course where play moves along quickly. The threesome I joined up with were great people which made the experience even more pleasurable. I will play this course again.
I like this course and, it's sister, the North Course.
Good course to play for any level of golfer. Friendly staff and a real nice Pro shop.
Greens were under repair.
Actually played the North Course. Have played the course numerous times before and greens were worse seen. There were a great number of areas of the greens that were being seeded and bumpy.
