Overall course good, greens need improving
Course overall good, pace off play slow, greens appeared aeriated recently
Nice course
Enjoyed golfing here, you can see they are working to spruce up the course. The course is in pretty good shape.
Excellent course for taking my 76 cousin out for round. Wide open with very little trouble. We always have a great time and get to play about once a year when i visit from the east coast of Florida. Played the tips and broke 80. Always a good day when you break 80!
Good Day
As always you greeted with a friendly personal. They even remember my name.
Course was in great condition however my game did not reflect same. But as always I was there and enjoyed my day.
Thanks San Carlos
SWFL is not a cheap place to play.
SWF this time of year is an expensive place to play. This is a decent course for the money. You won’t be bragging about playing it to anyone. Decent course, very open, so not a lot of lost balls. Best case, plan on a 4:15 round. They tend to pack in the tee times, so pace is a bit slower.
Fun and Organized
I played one day and came back the next day because I liked it so much. Course is well maintained and the starters are organized in getting groups out. They offer a nice practice area for putting, chipping, and range.
Nice Day at San Carlos
We got paired up with two very nice gentlemen and got to tee off a little early which was nice. We played in about 4 hours and the overall course conditions were pretty good. Greens were a tad on the slow side for my liking probably running around a 9 but the surfaces where good. Some of the tee boxes are crowing and could use a little rebuilding for sure. Our only real criticism, is that once again, another Aqua Range with crappy balls!
Slow play and equally slow greens
We had to wait on just about every hole.
Greens were slow and the conditions were poor.
No value at all
Greens all have dead spots, fairways as thin as u could imagine. $100 for green fee and after 9 holes I started bumping the ball. So many better courses around the area for close to the same money. I’d skip this place
Slow play
We had a 2:45 tee which should have brought us in with a full 18. However, there was a very slow 4some in front with a two or three hole gap when the lights went out. To bad because we wanted to finish of course. The course is in good shape and fun to play.
