Shingle Creek's par-4 12th is one of the new holes, which Thad Layton and team knitted adeptly into the existing course. Big fan of this bunker cluster. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

The penultimate test at Shingle Creek is a pretty par three with the massive hotel as a backdrop. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

NICE AFTERNOON
Greens were true and quick. Tee boxes a little wet with over seeding. Course in very good shape.
A special place of Golf
This course took on a major renovation in 2016 from Arnold Palmer Designs each hole has at least one unique feature requiring strategy and skill.
Course Challenge:
Let me tell you, this course isn't playing around. Holes 7, 8, and 9 are like the ultimate bosses. Hole 7 was like "hit me if you dare" at 241 yards INTO a headwind. It was 3-wood or bust for me. Hole 8, a whopping 610-yard par 5, again the wind was not on my side. As for Hole 9, picture a gutsy 510-yard par 4, where water hugs the entire left side and sneaky bunkers lie in wait on the right. Gotta be extremely precise to get this one!
Sloping Greens Fun:
The greens? They're like roller coasters! They're up, they're down, and they're wild. But it's a fun kind of challenge. And those tucked pins? They dared us to go big or go home, which added a whole new level of excitement.
Sweet Views:
Around Hole 12 and 13, you can spot I-Drive, the Wheel at ICON park, and the new Universal Park. Oh, and the new roller coaster being built? We had front-row seats for that spectacle.
Hospitality Wins:
Big shout-out to the awesome folks @rosenshinglecreek . They treated us like VIPs, and the friendliness was off the charts. Major props to the whole staff.
Final Verdict:
If you're up for a golfing adventure that's equal parts challenge and fun, you gotta hit up Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Club. It's like a roller coaster for your golf game. And who doesn't love that? 10/10 Would definitely recommend!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape. Pin placement was harder Saturday than Sunday.
Great track
Great course. Very helpful and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.
The staff was fantastic. The course is in excellent condition., greens are lightning fast. Pace of play was alright could've been faster. Going back next week and I can't wait to play it again. Highly recommend it.
7:20 tee time with scramble at 8????
Had tee time at 7:20
Waited in line to check in for 30 minutes
Place was packed and figured out when I arrived that a scramble was about to take place
Groups went out at 8am
Pulled up to #5 with 2 groups getting ready to tee off. 6 hour round was dropped in front of me. Nope. At least they refunded me. Never had a club allow teetimes before a morning scramble…captain obvious here, don’t do that!
