Nice Change
Decided to try a new course. It was very nice. Back 9 was a little confusing. We ate lunch prior to golf in their club house and it was good and the service was great.
Good Value
A challenging course from 6,400+ yards on a breezy and humid day for my first play at Majors Golf. Pace of play was excellent, as there were not many on the course midday. They are doing some work on the course to get it back into shape, and it's going to take a big effort, but overall the greens were good, fairways spotty, and the tees were average. The layout of the course is awesome, but can be a bit confusing if you haven't played here before (pay attention to hole layout pictures at the tees). Gotta keep the ball in the fairway here, as it gets pretty tight with hazards all around. Exceptionally long par 3's, which was a pleasant surprise. It's definitely not a course to be walked, as there are some good distances between tees. Decent driving range with practice putting green/short game area. There were limited services (no alcohol) available due to the COVID-19 regulations, and all the staff were very friendly, conscious about sanitary conditions, and accommodating. Definitely heading back soon to replay.
Great Layout technical holes.
We enjoyed our time playing the majors. Would recommend to anyone looking to play something with a little challenge.
Eh
The course is rough, dry, hard in desperate need of water. Greens are the same. Not much to write home about. Very mediocre and somewhat overpriced
Great Day For Golf
Course offered lot's of challenges especially with the length and hazards offered. Pace of play was normal for the amount of players on the course. Everyone enjoyed themselves in this group for sure...Thanks!
Not walkable
So the back nine has holes where it seems like a quarter of a mile between green and the next tee. I played this course three times over the past couple of years and find myself realizing I’ve made the same stupid choices over and over. This is a tricky course but fun. The pitcher of beer for $7.50 helped with recovery.
Very friendly staff. Interesting course. Riding only. The distance from green to tee's is too long to walk on many holes, which is why you are not allowed to walk.
Course needs some love....
I’m sorry, but this course need some love. The holes haven’t been changed in days, the fairways are bare and the greens were bad. I hope the owners put some money into this place.
Course was not in good shape
This had to be one of the top five worst condition golf courses that I have ever played in my life. Fairways were like rough and the rough was like playing out of the weeds. Greens had bare spots but they did putt OK. Course head ruts in the fairway from cart traffic and maintenance. Fairways hardly had any roll due to high grass in fairways. Course played much longer than it should have due to conditions. Not worth the money right now. Good thing I used one of my Free rounds from golf pass.
