The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Course in great shape. Lots of water hazards
Have played this course a few times before. Great layout, great staff. Only problem was that yesterday, due to my own fault, I left a clothing item in the cart prior to departure and it disappeared. Called clubhouse and it was not turned in.
Fun layout and challenging par 5s
As others have noted, this is a good value if you get a Golf now hot deal and the course is not crowded. I thought the layout was fun with some challenging forced carries and somewhat elevated greens. From the white tees, two of the par 5s played long, especially into the wind. Like others, I noticed some tee boxes with long grass. My biggest complaints would be the slow greens and the muddy bunkers (likely from sprinklers with little very recent rain). If they’d cut and roll the greens and work on drainage and sand for the traps, this could be a much better place to play. The fairways were nice, and the greens held well. I’ll likely play it again, but I’d sure love to see some improvement on the greens and traps in the near future.
Great time
Except for a very slow group ahead of us it was a great time. Things got touchy on the 18th when the group before us teamed up with four others to have a gathering on the green as we waited to hit on the green and nothing was said to those persons. However, it appeared that they were partying as they all departed in a van together.
getting there month by month
Happy to see the traps have been raked recently and if possible I'd give them 3 1/2 stars.
Still storm damage visible but a deal at under $20 and its usually a quick 18 - though not today as there was a shotgun tourney clogging things up
Great public access course in Sawgrass
Always enjoyed playing this course and I am pleased that the conditions improved in the last 12 to 15 months. Greens are slow but roll well. Sand traps have no rakes and they need a pin marking system. You cannot tell where the pin is located similar to your courses that used a number system for where the pin is located, generally for each hole. Recommend playing this course and worth the money.
Still getting better
Played he in Feb, May and this week. The greens are the best I seen in years. Yes there storm damage but course is very playable. The course is getting real good. There still work to be done but it still getting better every time I come down to play. Will be back over the winter and will play here again.
Terrible
No yardage markers anywhere. The greens were like putting on fairways. Didn’t seem like any maintenance had been done since the hurricane. Just a terribly maintained golf course. I won’t be back.
Back nine not open yet. Still clearing Irma. Front nine in great shape.
Fun and challenging
Course is in very good shape, only a couple of greens needing some TLC. Staff is great, friendly, and accommodating. Love playing it!
mixed - mostly good
Greens were aerated so our round was cheaper than the usual price. After a foursome waived us through the pace was a nice 3 1/2 hours.
The course from tees, fairways and greens is very nice.
My only complaint is that both times we've played here the traps were awful - so bad we considered taking drops. They just need sand and a good raking - the cost of maintaining them can't be that much.
Fix the traps and its a 4 star course
Great course
1st time playing yesterday using golf now hot deal. It was totally worth it. Greens and tee boxes could use work as stated, but Over all it was a great experience.
Challenging holes and unique obstacles.
We will be back to play for sure!
Progress
Course is on the right track and at the moment is my personal favorite course to practice on. With a few more months of good course maintaining, it may become unbelievably nice! Who's knows! Stay tuned.
ok to play
a low cost place to play, 3 palms restaurant on site best is part of operation.
unexpected circumstances
When I arrived for my tee time at 10:10, I knew something was up because there were no cars in the parking lot. WOW, is this place even open? Yes, but the greens were being airiated. The fairways were dry without the healthy grass, traps were mud filled. Then when I made the turn after nine holes I stopped to grab something eat. What? are you kidding me, a fine dining restaurant in the clubhouse! All I need is a sandwich. Starter tells me its real expensive and I said Im real hungry, so I waited 15 minutes for a 13 dollar crab cake appetizer and 3 dollar coke.
