This par nine cow pasture course now calls itself Rabbit Run Golf Club, so drop the Indian Ridge Golf Club. If you don't like putting or pickup anything inside 5 feet then this course is for you. The reason for this is simple, this place doesn't have puttable greens. Most holes are cut out of sand laiden fiscue flats that are thinner than most of my shots. The greens that do have bremuda (maybe three) are spotty at best and poorly designed. I wouldn't be going out on a limb by saying they look maintained by some kid and a Snapper Comet. Despite all of this, I would return here for the workout special, for $10 you can walk as many rounds you like. So, put on your walking shoes, trade your putter for an extra wedge, and bring any equipment you have been meaning to tryout and drop a ten spot for some always needed playing conditions practice. Dont bother with the pencil, because score keeping won't be enjoyable. In the unlikly event you do shoot par, have your witness sign the card and sign up for US OPEN quilifying. You might be real good or real luckys In any event, give it a try. Remember to have fun and don't feel alone if this place inspires thoughts of starting or buying your own course because you think you can do better. Im sure these owners had those ideas just to find out its alot harder than it looks. Im greatful the owners stuck their necks out so I can play nine different holes once in a while.
