Green potential
What a fun course. Opportunities for chip ins, hole in ones and a chance to take in nature. The course would be a good location for a chip and put tournament with more care of the grounds. Let’s hope they put effort into making this a fun spot for experienced and novice alike.
Fun
Had a great time, I basically had the course to myself. Teeboxes and most greens were in very poor condition.
Course or beginner golfers/children.
This is not a “real” golf course. There are no fairways, there are no roughed, there’s hardly a green on half the holes. It’s very much a poorly managed, cheap, “do whatever you want” kind of course.
Great to bring kids on to teach golf to, however.
short game practice course
this is not a real golf course, all par 3 and mostly under 120 yards. longest hole is 150 yards. it's fine if you want to practice your short irons and short game. greens are very small so lots of chipping. for the price it's fine for what it is, just set expectations accordingly. it was almost empty on a weekday at noon.
Short par 3 course
Course definitely has some rough areas/ tee boxes but overall it was a nice experience. This course will help you primarily with your wedge practice.
Nice practice course
Cross Creek is an 18 hole par 3 in the city. Yes, the course could use some TLC. Rarely tees off on grass. It’s a great course to practice the short game, winds around water on many holes. Friendly staff make it even better! Plenty of push carts. If you’re a golf snob the course condition may not be for you. If you just want to get a quick 18 in or practice the short game, this is a great little course tucked away in Atlanta.
