Good course
Everything was good about the entire experience. Course was a good challenge for everyone. Looking forward to playing it again soon.
Decent course. Good value for the money.
Course was in decent shape.
Most of the greens were in good condition, but a few had weird ant hills. Fairways were average and rough was pretty short.
Overall I had a good time and it's a good value for the money.
Solid course for the money
This is a decent course, especially if you play as a Hot Deal. The fairways were a little spotty, but the greens were very good. If you have a tendency to spray your tee shots, this course will be challenging, particularly with a couple of major roads along some of the holes. Overall, I would certainly recommend this course.
Fairways are gone
Nothing but native grass, Bermuda is completly gone from winter fairways are rough. Greens were good but very, very, slow. Layout is not bad but some quirky holes 10, 12 & 16 (600 yard par 5).
This course holds it's own
There are some really great options for golf in Bardstown and Woodlawn Springs is definitely in better shape than it was the last time I played there. The fairways were a little spotty at times, but the course is in overall great shape compared to surrounding courses. It's a great price for a good round of golf.
Needs more grass
Decent layout, and no one else on the course. Just too many dead areas in fairways, and sandy anthills ( not sure) starting to take over some greens.
Challenging
Good course that is challenging. Manicured well for the weather conditions we are having. I highly recommend.
Decent course
For the value you can beat it. It is a nice course lot of onion in the fairways need to Cut. People saying the back nine was narrow did think so played on narrower courses over all you can't beat a deal for a great day of golf.
Good vs Evil
The weather was ideal, and there wasnt a soul on the course. The pro working at the shop was super cool, and a total gentlemen. The course front nine was gorgeous and I played GREAT, but man the back nine is TOUGH! A lot of blind approach shots, super tight alleys. Well worth the 12$ for 18 w/ cart. The only problem was the fairways were in REALLY bad shape, I think everyone of them were brown with wild onions growing.
Nice course for a straight hitter
The course was in really good condition. Greens were nice, had decent undulations. Fairways in great condtion, a little crabgrass sneaking in, but great. Low scores a good possibility on this course, but you need to hit it straight. Some of the tee shots are pretty tight.
Good value for the money. Needs some maintenance
Good course for the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course layout is similar to a lot of courses built in the middle of a housing development. Lots of homes along the fairways and long drives between holes. Greens were a little rough and had too many spots where they were not maintained well. Also, lots of unpleasant undulations. Don't know if I would drive from Louisville again to play here, but if you are already in the area, it's worth stopping by.
Challenging
Great course, this was the first time I have played it. So to me it was a tough 18 today. I struggled on all the par 3.
Where's the water?
Front nine was fairly wide open and enjoyable, but it was hot and there was not a drop of drinking water to be found on the course. Between nines, we stopped in the clubhouse and found that there was no water there either. It was hot, and they should at least have had a cooler full of ice. No food available either! Had to stock up on candy and crackers--not the way to get people to return. Back nine had some holes that were quirky tight, with lots of trees, nothing like the front.
Ths is a public course, as such it is fine.
This is a public course and is in public course condition. It could use some work but is okay. It does have some interesting holes. For the money, with a cart it is a good deal.
Challenging good time
Good Course some challenging holes. Nice scenery. Sand traps were hard.
In good shape but there are holes that the average player can not play without triple bogey or higher.
The course was in good shape and for the most part is playable for all level of player. There are 3 or 4 holes that are almost unplayable for the average player which will kill your round.
this course needs to up date the web site.no gps no driving range
Course needs attention. Got there early to us driving range and didn't have one. web said it did. Had to wait for a cart for 20 min.finally got the cart and had to push it through 8th and 9th up hill most of the way.and no gps either web said it had it but of course it didn't was not happy with this course at all but the price was fair
different nines
This course couldn't have more contrasting nines. The front is WIDE open and the back is ridiculously tight. Front was very easy compared to the back.
Fun Course
Greens very good, tees good, few of the fairways with some dead spots but should be filling in soon with hotter weather, bunkers need some attention ( no sand ) mostly dirt
