One of My All Time Favorite Rounds

Amazing views of the house and harbor. I will never forget golfing with the great views and boats near in the ocean! By far one of my favorite Wayne Stiles courses!.

Old school charm and built up undulating greens add to the enjoyment. Jump aT the opportunity to play.

Spectacular Oceanside Golf

My friend and I had a chance to play this exclusive course while he was in Portland. It is a high end, members only course June through August. In the Spring and Fall there is access for those with special memberships. The course is short by today's standards, but the sea breeze and some very complex greens make up for that. They have restored the original links look by removing thousands of trees in the past 5 years. The first and second holes are right on the water and the views are spectacular. The 15th green has a false front that will penalize you and the ocean is just beyond the green. There are several holes with amazing views that will distract you in the good kind of way. The course is an easy walk with no real hills. I am told the bugs can be deadly in the summer months. We hit a perfect 70 degree day in mid-October just before the course was going to shut down for the season. If you ever have an invitation to play Prouts Neck, make sure you accept and see this grand, old style course, that sits on a location that is tough to beat.
