Cape Cod Robbery
$94? Who decided that it was a good idea to charge nearly $100/round, for a track that's worth $70-$75? There are far better values, without having to go over the bridge. DUMMIES!
Tough on Bad Knees and Back
Both myself and my equally hobbled mid 60s golf pal, even though riding. found the course to be grueling on the joints primarily due to the transversing of the tees/ greens access hills and slopes. The course was wet, and the weather was cold/damp which added to the trudging. The greens were pretty bumpy due to an apparent recent aeration activity. The course is more designed for hale and hearty health jointed individual. We won't be back.
Winter golf
For a round in early Feb. the course was in good shape. Greens were fairly true and fairway grass was in good shape.
Golf in February
Took advantage of the weather, and booked Brookside because they had carts available. We have played this course many times and enjoyed it.
Had greens opened , course played well even though it's February.
Pace of play great.
Winter Golf is Challenging
This course is a really nice course to play, its a fav or my wife & I , Chris is a really nice guy and the course getting some tree work done which I think is to open it up a little better to allow more sun possibly and added new stairs on a pair 3. I'm sure its going to look great when the work is done.
Great work Brookside.
Worth the drive
Nice track up and down rolling fairways with many blind shots, greens are large and undulating and roll nice, will play again,Lunch in the bar was great too.
Course was well-kept as always. Pace of play great for a mid-day Saturday round. Will definitely play again.
Great Course/Excellent Value
Absolutely the best conditioned, public fee course on Cape.
Not the longest course, but you have to hit it straight.
Scoring is challenging and the course is always fun to play.
Consistency
10 years playing this course, I’ve never had a bad experience.
Conditions, value, pace of play, practice facility and restaurant are all excellent. Not the longest course but fun to play.
Hope they keep their prices where they’re at.
Great day at Brookside!
Brookside is as advertised, a public course with a private course feel. My golfing buddy and I had a great round, teeing off in the afternoon, and had a leisurely round with no one in front of us, or behind us. The greens were in good shape, but after a heavy rain the day before, they had grown a little and we’re not as fast as the practice greens. That said, the putts did not break as much as we I thought they would. The course is challenging and fair, and is well kept. Signature hole is the 10th, a par five that sits at the highest point of the course. Electric carts, and a great layout made for an enjoyable afternoon. We paid about $55 with a GolfNow coupon and we both agreed it was a good deal. Will definitely return to play it again.
