Don't book this course on GolfNow
There are a bunch of reviews stating this, but don't book this course through GolfNow. Call the course directly or there is a good chance your tee time will be cancelled day of.
I was en route to the course and got a call from GN saying the tee time was no longer available (booked a week in advance). I called the course and they said that they told GN they had an all day tournament and that the tee time shouldn't have been available. I don't know whose fault it actually was, but would have been avoided by booking through the course rather than this site.
Great golf course for the money.
Bedrock has a challenging layout with tight fairways. The fairways aren’t as well manicured as pricier courses, but the greens are in great shape. The staff is friendly and accommodating, although Lynn the bartender can be sarcastic at times.
Fun 9 hole track
Played 18 holes with a buddy today and we were pleased with the course setup and condition. The course is pretty straight and not to challenging. The greens rolled true and were a medium speed. It is a nice course to walk with only a few small hills. We both played 18 for less than $60 and were well under 4 hours. I would definitely play this course again. Not a championship course by any means but perfect for weekend hacks like myself.
Great track
Challenging course with some hidden hazards...small and challenging greens were in great shape, as were tee boxes as well. Fairways were pretty good condition for a course of this size; no complaints at all. Look forward to coming here multiple times this summer.
The layout of the course was great
The layout of the coolest was great
The only problem was a lot of the fairways with Miss cut and did not feature the whole well at all
It was most crab grass on the fairways although the greens had great features and they were very smooth and true
In conclusion the value was fantastic but the overall condition of the cause was for this course was rated with five stars and truly only deserves to stars in my opinion
Nothing special. Nobody there.
I don't know why there was nobody there on a Saturday afternoon. There we scattered T-Storms. It never rained during my round. 18 holes took 2.5 hours.
The layout is okay. The two pars 3 are excellent. The greens were in fantastic condition. The carts are mediocre. The cart paths are bad. The course is rough around the edges. 2 out of 5 stars for manicuring. The greens are the highlight. A 3-4 holes are interesting. The rest of the layout is boring. a 9 holes course. For $25, I'd play it again. Overall it''s fun and cheap.
Horrible!!
The most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered. Guy at the desk was a miserable old man. You’ll never catch me going into their mobile home club house again!
Awesome practice course
Bedrock golf club is an awesome practice round golf course. You get to play the same hole twice. The course layout is perfectly suited for beginners and intermediate golfers. The greens are in perfect shape. The fairways and rough need some work to grow the grass in same areas. Overall the course is in very good condition.
Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate golfers. The 4th hole is a PAR 3 with water in front. This year I was able to carry the ball for the 1st time on the green. There was a threesome in front of us. The men watched my shot and once I got on the green to make my puts they said to me “Great shot”!
This year I believe that I can play comfortably on this gold course.
I also took my mother with me to walk by my side and caddie for the first time on this golf course and she really enjoyed it.
Hidden Gem!
I've lived in the area most of my life and had never been here before. My usual course was fully booked, so decided to venture out.
Pleasantly surprised by this 9-hole course. Tree-lined fairways, water-hazards, and rolling hills made it a challenge. Staff was friendly, but I'm not sure if GolfNow is fully integrated into their scheduling, as there was a scramble tournament going on, which slowed play and began at our tee-time.
GolfNow price was over half-off the normal price. Will definitely go back to try to improve my score on this course.
Great practice course
I think I hit the lowest round of my career 73. I hit 8/14 fairways and 6/18 greens. 2 birdies, 13 pars, and 3 bogies.
Pars 4 and 5 used to be my nightmare. I really struggled making pars let alone birdies.
Since I significantly improved my driving from 150 to 255 yards I can now get to have a chance for birdie in most less than 400 yards PAR 4s.
Since all my focus has been on improving on PAR 4s and 5s I am still struggling on PAR 3s. I will write more about my PAR 3 practice in my next review.
I was able to make 2 birdies on 2 PAR 4s, in holes 8 and 17.
This is a great practice course because you have two chances to play the same hole location.
