Great course for beginners
At first I was a little confused because the course is very wide open. You have to pay attention on which green you are shooting for, but it is a great course without too many obstacles to lose balls. I really enjoyed playing here and will be back.
Warren Valley - East Bumpy and wet
Poor layout on course ,got lost from hole 5 and ended up at hole #16. Had to drive back around and loop up to hole #6. Don't play here after a rain bumpy course, super hilly and pond puddles galore here.
The rough was rough but otherwise in good condition
Used to play in a league here. Visited the course for old times sake. The rough WAS rough. We lost a few balls because the rough would "eat up" the balls (if you were unlucky not to stay in the fairway). The course is challenging but fun!
I Love Warren Valley
Great courses at a great price. I never get tired of playing these Donald Ross layouts. I live in Royal Oak but call this my home course.
Love the layout
I played a few days after a big rainfall.. The course was still pretty wet so it wasn't in its best form. The fairways and tee boxes were not able to be cut, which was understandable. I can't wait to play this course mid-summer, when it's all dried out. Not too challenging of a layout, but it still requires some good shot-making. Small greens rolled true. All in all, a very good experience. Will definitely be back! Employees were friendly and knowledgeable.

NIce moring round
Nice round to stat off the 4th of July holiday. Tee boxes were hard, greens fast and weather nice, I just wish people would invest in divot tools. I repaired at least 3-4 on every hole I played.

who's running the course?
There was no course Ranger. There were groups of 5, 6, and 7 golfers playing together. Sunflower seed shells all over the greens. Golfers playing loud music from a golf cart. There was a 2 player group in front of us that were playing multiple balls all day long. If your serious about your golf experience, I would not recommend this course.

Good classi course
Always a pleasure to play. We played on fathers day early morning and the pace was perfect. Conditions could be better but greens are in great shape. Small greens which I like! Great classic course. I enjoy the West more than the East.

Haven't played this coarse in 20 years or more but I will be back. although play was slow I still enjoyed myself

great day
Gorgeous day for golf. Pace was quick but we never felt slowed down by group ahead or rushed by group behind us. Greens were in fine shape and entire course was dry and well maintained.

The layout with the east and west courses can get a little confusing but nothing too difficult to navigate. I'll return.
