Plenty of modern golf courses in southern Nevada will dazzle with spectacular views, impeccable conditions and difficult holes, but few will give you a real sense of Las Vegas history. One exception is Las Vegas National, one of the few remnants of how life used to be in Sin City.
This project's size, scope, and vision would seem arrogantly out of place anywhere else, but with the Vegas strip just 17 miles away, it seems like a logical progression in this land of fantasy.
The Badlands is a 27-hole facility on the northwest side of town off of the Summerlin Highway. This fascinating course was built in 1995 and was a collaborative effort between two unique personalities, Johnny Miller and Chi Chi Rodriguez.
