Raymond Memorial Golf Course
About
Raymond Memorial Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is a rare find, which includes twin par-3 holes. Each par-3 hole is actually two parallel holes, complete with tees, fairways and greens. The idea behind this feature was to allow play to move at a more reasonable pace by allowing the faster players to advance ahead of the slower foursomes.
From the blue tees, this course plays to 6,864 yards, with a rating of 72.8 and a slope of 121. The large and contoured greens are raised and sloped from back to front. Sand bunkers protect the front side of all 18 holes.

Long Holes - Wide Fairways - Big Greens
Bring your driver and let out the shaft. The Par 4s are long, but the fairways are wide enough, and the greens are large enough for wayward shots.
need a starter
lovely people, but paired up with duffers so played ahead as a single. Then a fairly dense lineup ahead of me.
Great Course!
I really enjoy Raymond, not a ton of turns, pretty straight course. It’s funny, you’ll go 3-4 straight on greens, then a sharp dog leg that keeps it challenging.
The staff was great, and having Schmidt’s at the turn was a nice surprise!
without rangers, very stupid pace
on hole #11, our 2-some got stuck behind 4 young men who appeared out of nowhere. Incredibly slow, cocky, unwilling to hit from the tee until the entire course in front of them was empty. They then sprayed balls all over and then had to hunt for them. They were rude as well.
Not sure why social distancing prevents a course from having rangers.
Poor Tee Box Management
Got the earliest tee time available (6:36) because the last couple of times playing here. Pace of play is ridiculous (5hrs-5 1/2hrs). Upon arrival was told a twosome (Walking) would be placed ahead of us. No carts were ready or clean. Needless to say we were waiting on every tee box. After making the turn the starter/clubhouse sent a single out on 10 in front of us.
Very unprofessional. Would recommend going anywhere else but here.
Wish I could give it zero stars, but not an option
Nice Course, poor scheduling
Course is always overbooked and you are always paired up with others. Consistently delayed tee times of over 20 minutes. Course was in good shape. Round of 18 holes took almost six hours.
Raymond on a weekday
Everything was as usual, just OK. The rough was thick because of the recent rain. Covid 19 has kept the water jugs away, so that is understandable but disappointing. Pace was fine. Finished in four hours. Was playing by myself and got stuck behind a foursome playing from the tips. Waiting at every tee box on the back 9 Will come back, and expectations will be thecsame
Staff was really rude and the way they answer also is ridiculous
Let me start of by saying about the course condition, it is really good and would definitely love to play again but the staff was really really rude and the way they answer also is completely ridiculous. I booked tee time for 4 pm to play on 5/25. After completion of 9 holes, me and another person(whom I tee’d up with) stopped to get some refreshments. At that time we were told to leave the cart and go by walk if we need to play/complete another 9 holes. For us, it doesn’t make any sense because we paid for 18 holes and the cart was included and everyone who is playing there using the cart to complete 18 holes. When I checked with the old lady there, she said, we paid only for 9 holes for the cart and they wouldn’t allow us to take the cart. When we checked the time it was around 6:15 pm. They said it’s not our issue that we need to check with golf now ppl. We were ready to pay to get the cart but old lady said, we’re not going to stay here for you guys when you guys come after 8. There were no ppl in front of us. I had to go by walk to complete another 9 holes. By the time I come back, ppl are still playing and they are using the cart.
I won’t be playing again here.
Enjoyable golf course
Fairway condition was very good but the green was difficult. Due to many golf team with one golfer, playing time was delayed.
