Good value for the money for this time of year. Very friendly staff and pace of play was excellent. We will definitely be returning for another round.

While a nice layout overall course conditions are not good. Greens are ok but teeing areas, fairways and bunkers are in very poor shape. Staff are friendly but we finished at 4:30 and clubhouse was locked so we could not have a post round beverage. Will not be going back.

Very few holdups, played in 3:15 as a 2-some.. Condition was decent for time of year. Greens were pretty good, true and fast enough. Lots of divots and bare spots on fairway. Okay for winter rules.

Sand traps horrible, cart paths horrible, some lakes were brown, some were green. The layout was great with huge potential. For a Davis Love design, he would not be happy to see its current condition

Ten years ago I played white tees and white tees can wear you out! Now I (age 78) have moved forward and, while it doesn't change my HC, it is a lot more fun.

Course has plenty of tee options for all abilities. Accuracy is rewarded. The downside was playing the day after a steady rain. Course was extremely wet with standing water on many of the tee boxes. Greens were decent. I’ll try it again when it dries out.

Some of the T boxes were rough and there was a cart path missing on one of the holes. Greens were OK given we were playing in January. Staff was nice and helpful. Not a lot of people playing so the pace was whatever we wanted.

Layout was good, staff was excellent, some T boxes were pretty rugged, greens were good, one of the cart paths was missing / under repair. Holes were challenging. Ok for the price

Greens are puttable, fairways ok, but tee boxes are bare.
Cart paths are horrible, schedule a chiropractor before you play. It's a pretty place and a good design. It's my hope that warm weather will bring the bermuda to life. Wonderful staff.

Greens have crabgrass mixed in everywhere, very worn down bunkers. Irrigation issue in the middle of one green. You can tell this could be a phenomenal course of championship quality if the right amount of initial investment was put in and the maintenance budget was doubled. Worth a play if you get a Hot Deal, but I’d pass if you’re looking for a high quality golf course in HHI area.

I've played here a few times, it's rated as a 3 star, but is comparable or better than most 4 star courses I normally play around Savannah area. Today it was cart path only due to recent rain and even with everything a little soggy fairways and grens were still in pretty good shape especially for this time of year. Pace of play is great, didn't wait on any tee long at all. I enjoy playing this course and have never had a bad experience here.

The tee boxes were bare dirt. The greens were lumpy and had areas of damage. One of our electric carts died on the 18th hole and we were forced to combine bags on one cart and abandon the other. I was not able to pay for the golf online prior to the tee time and when I got to the proshop they quoted me a higher price than what Golfnow had.

For this time of year, the course is in good condition & will be getting better with time. Weather was cold to start (10:30) but was excellent for the back nine as the sun was strong & not too windy. Not very busy so pace of play was good as it was cart path only. A totally enjoyable day of golf in late December.

The course has recently been sold and the new owners are planning to improve it. The greens were smooth and well maintained. The fairways are dormant now but they are very playable. The course layout is well designed by Davis Love III and it has some pretty views. This course at its current pricing is a good deal compared to the expensive neighbors in the Hilton Head area.
