Course Description: For many years this venue has been considered a benchmark against which all courses are measured, Harbour Town Golf Links is home to one of the top events on the PGA Tour, the MCI Classic. This Pete Dye-Jack Nicklaus designed course occupies a spectacular setting on the inland coast of Hilton Head Island.
This is a facility which, at the time it was opened, went against the trend for huge courses that prevailed at the time. Short par-4s require far more precision than brute strength. Harbour Town employs small greens, and it's a far greater test of one's chipping than lag-putting. The par-3s are highly regarded, perhaps because all involve water nearby. This facility has become a symbol for excellence in the world of golf, and yearly makes everyone's list of Top-50 in the USA. It was recently acclaimed the 57th best course in the world by Golf Digest.

That $$$ means you can't afford it if you have to ask! Seriously, I have been lucky enough to play it a couple of times and it is a great golf course, but way overpriced(because they can!). They list the price around $250 per round. There are some specials, but they are still very expensive.

well worth the money, have played it twice from the back tees, once in a life time golf course, if you are staying at the heritage across the street from the golf course they used to let you play one round of golf for $25.00 and $25.00 all week for the other two seapine courses
