River Oaks Golf Club
About
River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

Fun course, Good value
Played Fox/Otter nines. Great staff, excellent driving range. Course varied and interesting. Step bridge between 9s was a thrill. Would definitely play again. Good condition.
Even though it rained the customer service was excellent.
River Oak
Great course for the cost. Course was in great shape!
First round of spring
Happened to be staying near this course.
Fairways and greens were in very good shape. Many bunkers were washed out. It appeared staff has been working on them.
It was good value for the money.
Great staff.
Will play again.

Great track to warm up for your golf trip.
Outstanding staff from start to finish. Golf course is OK, but not fabulous. Good value for the money.
Nice pace, friendly staff
Greens were very fast, and friendly, not over undulating and tee boxes in nice shape, overall good experience
Nice experience
Front 9 greens excellent, back nine greens not as good, but the course is very friendly and nice
Awesome
I wish I had just booked every early morning round here for the duration of my stay. The back 9 was some of the most enjoyable golf I’ve played in years. Great track, great people and I can’t wait to come back and play again. We didn’t want to leave😂😂great job guys
The bridge!
This is a fun course, and for the time of year it was in great shape. Pace was good, staff was friendly. The bridge you have travel over between the front nine and back nine is a real experience. To me it was fun, but if you have a fear of heights you might struggle with this one. The greens on this course are small. Some are real small. I don't remember any of them being flat and the ones that have water around them slope to that water. I say that to say it was still fun. I loved the challenge, even though it kicked my butt. I will definitely keep it on my list of courses to play in Myrtle Beach.
