Out of all the courses in South Carolina including Myrtle Beach, the River Golf Club is one of your favorites?
I've played the River GC and it's one of my favorites around Augusta, but nothing compared to the Myrtle Beach area.
You must work for them or something. Bartram Trail is another great course on par with River GC. If you have the connections, try Sage Valley in Graniteville.

This course is a challenging golf course. From the while tees, it is a good test for any level of golfer. From the back tees, it is an extremely challenging layout. Since this course is located near the banks of the Savannah River, the wind blows on most days. When the wind does blow, it will test your skills with the driver. On holes number 3, 6, & 15, you have to carry the ball nearly 200 yards from the while tees to hit dry land. From the back tees, the same holes will need well over 200 yards of carry in order to reach land. A great test. This course is usually in great shape. Bent grass greens top off the treat, where they are true and fast. This is truly one of my favorite courses in South Carolina.
