In our first round of golf at the Avery Ranch last weekend, we had some discussion with some of the Course Rangers regarding time by hole.
I understand that a round of golf can last between 3.5 hours to 4.5 hours but it depends on the type of player.
We were four people. Two were players with probably less than 1 year playing, means handicap between 20 to 35 and require more time to complete the course.
During our play time no matter that we grouped ourselves to play scramble between 1 good player and one not as good player the course Rangers asked us to jump holes to make possible to them to place more people in the course making our game a hell.
My suggestion to the course Admin is make sure you schedule the time better to make possible that slower players can enjoy a round since they are paying the same amount of money than others
My suggestion to the players is that if you are able to make a tee time in other course do it, but if you still want to go Avery Ranch make sure you play really fast or make your self an 13 handicap or better before you go there.
