Couldn't have felt more welcome. Staff was very accommodating. Played with active members and felt the same. Highly recommend.

Good playing condition considering winter weather. Pin placements were difficult for some reason but greens rolled nicely.

1st time playing a Sun City course did not disappoint. Course was in good condition for winter, greens soft and receptive and rolling very consistent on each hole. Very large greens with undulation so really helps to play with a local. Fortunately I got paired up with a good old boy that plays 200+ rounds per year there and we had a good day. Beautiful trees on the course, several bunkers, most in good shape. Some water and you have to watch the OB on some holes due to houses. Played the blues at 6000 yards and although shorter than what I like it was still challenging and interesting. You can back it up and play gold or black to test your skills a bit more. As others have mentioned, pack a lunch and a few drinks so you don't get "hangry". If you do that you'll enjoy your day out at Legacy Hills. And ask for Lindy, he'll save you several strokes on the course with his local tips!

Nice little course in retirement community. Very friendly staff and local players. Multiple tee boxes can appeal to all types of golfers and promotes good pace of play. Fairways are actually more open than they appear on the course's web site and provide several "risk/reward" options on longer holes. Food/beverage access is limited and only real short coming, buy "bring your own" option, while not promoted, is tolerated if done discreetly.

Tee boxes, greens and fairways were all green and almost perfect. Only issue was the driving range had fake grass and not real grass. So driver practice was tough couldn't get the tees in the artifical turf easily.
Otherwise great course that was very well maintained. Oh I forgot all the balls you want to hit on the driving range was kind of nice too.

Legacy Hills is an interesting course with a variety of challenges, scenic holes and layouts that wont penalize the golfer that strays from the fairway. Greens are very well maintained and the water features make for a scenic course that doesn't threaten the short hitter or high handicapper.

Played a. Day after 3 days of hard rain. Was surprised to fine the course in such good condition. Was paired wit two enjoyable golfers had a great time. Will return.

The course is nice and in good shape. The staff has POOR ATTITUDES! It is NEVER ok to yell at your customers. If you only want MEMEBERS to play there; then make the course PRIVATE. However it worked because I will NEVER play Legacy Hills again.

Course is Excellent condition. Not easy course, but manageable. Wonderful place to play golf. I would love to go back to play. Thank you..

IMO the best of the three courses at Sun City . GREAT price ($25 with cart) for afternoon tee time and course in very nice shape . First five holes through trees really good , and the rest very nice . Good variety of holes - length , doglegs and elevation changes .
Two negatives include no on-course service (no cart girl , no grill ...all they had was coke and vending - really ?) and the pace . Our twosome played behind two other twosomes that consisted of players barely able to walk . Waited on every shot until they finally left course after 9 . Then (you guessed it) we caught the next twosome on 11 . Drove around them on 15 . Are people STILL that clueless ? No service meant no marshal as well .

Got a good rate from GolfNow and the course was in good condition. The greens were well kept and true in my mind. Only had one hiccup got clogged up on 17&18 but not the courses fault. Had some challenging hole locations, but overall a good course.

A really beautiful course. The greens and fairways were in great shape. Restrooms, ice and water where available throughout the course. Always in joy playing the Sun City courses.

We are high handicap golfers. The course was in great shape, a few tee boxes a bit rough but for the most part it was beautiful. Some long par 5s and interesting par 3s. We appreciated the minimal water:) and spacious fairways.

Legacy Hills is a well-maintained, slightly challenging (for me) course that is beautifully laid out and offers the pleasure of being out of the hustle and bustle. Although built into a neighborhood, the neighborhood is quiet (a senior community) and well maintained. Many of the holes parallel greenbelt; only a few are sided by lawns and houses on both sides. And when they are, there is a healthy swath of brush/trees/cactus between fairway and houses. Playing at 5 pm in the summer heat, I'm one of few on the course. Consequently, what can be a very slow-playing course is not. 2:45 yesterday.

It poured down rain about 30 minutes prior to our tee time so the course was pretty wet, thus it was Cart Path only.

Even with it being wet, the course was in very good condition and was a lot of fun to play. Definitely a challenging course.

Overall I would definitely recommend it and will be playing again in the future.

Wonderful great golf course, Great greens, and fairways, well kept, beautiful course.

We enjoyed this course. It is challenging yet their are holes were the weekend golfer can score. Our group tries to play different courses and this one makes the play here again list. The only downside is no snack bar or hot food.

This course at sun city was in great shape. Fairways were excellent and greens were in good shape. One of the nicest courses for the value.

The three of us played early on a Sunday. The weather was threatening rain, which must have kept folks from coming out. For that reason, our pace of play was fantastic. We finished in 3-1/2 hours, which is pretty good for us, and that even included the typical ball searches due to errant shots.

The course was in wonderful shape. The driving range uses mats, but they are a type of mat that is pretty yielding, so there's not as much bounce as with mats I've hit in the past; very nice.

Checking in at the pro shop was effortless, the gentleman helping us was friendly and informative.

The course itself was beautiful, with gently rolling hills, and very well maintained tees, fairways, and greens. The bunkers had very nice, fine sand in them.

The rough was an interesting combination of long grass and wildflowers, making finding errant shots not SO impossible, but also contributing to a beautiful look.

This course is in Sun City, so of course there are many residents/regulars. We had no issues on course, but after the round, my brother-in-law just happened to be in the path of an oncoming cart, and the driver gave the impression that pedestrians should yield to him...! No matter, though; the course is a great place to visit. We've also played Cowan Creek, which is equally resort-quality; we're looking forward to trying nearby White Wing.
