Golf and clubhouse
Golf course is really nice. $45 to $50 per round would be a better price for a round. Clubhouse staff are super nice and professional. $6 for a draft beer is beyond ridiculous, won’t be back to the clubhouse for sure.
Nice course on a journey to return to its former glories
The course held prestigious events but it suffered from a lack of maintenance and according to members we played with became run down. New investment in the clubhouse and course is ongoing.
It was in decent condition with greens, tees and bunkers all good. Fairways were a little patchy in places and parts of the course were a little wet.
Overall it was enjoyable.
UCFGA
Cool weather to start the round with the sun and warmer weather by the turn. Course was a little wet and we played lift clean and place. altogether the round was better than good and will come back again.
Rio Pinar
Started out cool but eventually warmed up.
Pace of play was slow on the front nine but picked up on the back nine
Rio Pinar
Cool in the morning but warmer later. Used my points to play for free.would like more benefits like that and would play more often
Great value
Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend this facility. Appears to be making upgrades for an even better experience .
It’s always something at this course..
Played in a foursome today at 7:24. Members piled up at 7:30. We played an exact 4 hour round, but the members behind us (threesome) called it in that we were playing slow. Ranger followed us for 3 holes because we declined his offer to “skip the next hole”. Every shot he was right behind us until there was another frustrating exchange 3 holes later. Round was ruined by both the ranger and the members. This course can never put all the pieces together for an enjoyable experience, and it’s a shame because the course conditions are great and the starter Mike was awesome. Won’t be back.
Well, Rio Pinar went from the "no play" to "how much for a membership?" yesterday! They flipped the 9s again, the fairways are decent, greens good.
I'll definitely play here again... only issue is that the carts are VERY sensitive, and shut off immediately when you're even just off the cart path. With all those trees, I'd like some shade!
C'mon man! We're not driving on the greens or tee boxes, loosen up the GPS. 🤪
Tons of new features coming
First time playing here and for the deal I got on golf now I’d say it was worth the price ! Loved how they are building a trackman driving range ! Pretty open layout will be playing here again asap !
Always a great course
Always a great course, but after a renewed it is more enjoyable
Great Round
Good course for the price. First time out this season and shot my second best score. Forgiving fairways and little to no challenge in the rough. Fun course to play, especially with the little squirrel friends hanging out with you all day.
Rio Pinar
Slow on the front nine but a lot faster on the back nine until we got behind some guys who really should not have been out there
Good things are happening
After playing golf in Orlando for the last 30 years and more recently put off by some bad reviews, we decided to bite the bullet and play at Rio Pinar .
What an absolutely wonderful day we had
From start to finish everyone gave us a warm welcome, couldn’t be more helpful, and most of all appreciated the custom .
The course is still being worked on but the greens were good , tees a little scruffy in areas, and the fairways were good with just a few spots that are under repair.
The new clubhouse is great after golf and the service exemplary.
A great day out
Great Course
Loved the old school feel. Especially loved the greens. Which we're running very nicely and seems like they may have been rolled recently. Beautiful place.
Great course, they had the white tees, which to me seem like the senior tees back on most Par 4’s that made the course way longer than the score card.
It was a tough course for me because the White tees were moved back to the blue tees on a lot of the Par 4,s. The card showed about 5500 yards, but the course from the whites was over 6,000. Made it difficult for my age and length of my drive.
I still shot 90, but I was hitting a lot of 3 woods and long irons on my second shots.
Overall a nice course and one of the best conditions of all the courses I have played in Central Florida. Greens were good, fairways had grass. The only course I liked better this year was Deer Island.
Watch out for the squirrels, they are huge and they like to jump in the carts looking for food.
