Great Course
Course is challenging but fun. Lots of water hazards. Course in pretty good condition. Love playing here.

Aldeen spends less and less money on the course - not in great shape anymore
I would also consider the fact that your round was played during the wettest August on record and with intense heat. There were very few courses in the Midwest that were in their normal shape last August. It's really disappointing that you would select "I would not recommend the course" all things considered. The good thing is that 110 out of 111 would recommend Aldeen and I am one of them. Keep up the great work Rockford PD!

Very nice course
This is the second time playing this course. It was in excellent shape both times. They have several tee box options to make the course play from moderate to monster. Great staff too.

The course was in great shape. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We got a little twisted around getting to the course so we we're late for our tee time. But the staff worked with us even though they were having a play day and made room so we could get our day in. They should be commended for there helpfulness. Thanks agin for a great experience. We definately will be back.

A must play
Our group travel northern Illinois and southern wisconsin.
It is in the top three courses we play and the best course we played on 2016.
If you have any doubts. Put them aside. This is a must play course.
Wonderful layout. Even better conditions.
I was in the golf maintenance profession for 30 years, Aldeen is a top condition course. Treat yourself, go play.

Very nice course. One of the best in northern illinois. Only negative was that the geese on the course left quite a mess.Very challenging some shot making needed to play if you play the back tees. Pace of play was good for the most part, I will be back to play again. fun course to play.

Can't beat this challenge..
This is the most challenging golf course in the area! Aldeen is a gem and I can't express that enough. With many tee boxes to choose from it pleases to golfers of all skill levels. I play here a handful of times a year as a local. The layout is fantastic and course maintainence is above average. Practice facilities are second to none with late night range hours thanks to the stadium lights! Staff is good but I think could be friendlier remember people remember an above and beyond experience more than anything. Greens are the best right around the time of the city tourney and after (mid july-mid august). Pace of play during busy times I would say is average, carts help a lot though and slower players should be practicing more or playing easier courses instead of jumping on here and slowing people down. Again, this is a difficult course with a lot of trouble to get into. Be sure to check out the new bathroom house after hole 13 on your way to 14, high end stuff!
side notes: amazing clubhouse, beer selection and food, drive/walk up window is nice, patio is amazing! the best layout of any course in rockford area including cc's. island par 3 wow!!! keep it up Aldeen!
Great relax atmosphere
I played this course with my brother and we had a great time. We had to the course pretty much to ourselves until the back nine. The marshalls were very nice and so was the staff. The course was in great condition and the cart girl was very nice. This course is highly recommend it.

Good course could improve concessions
Course was in good shape. The greens were in good condition and rolled pretty true, but not many people fixed their divots. We had a couple of people fixing an average of 10 divots per green. Teed off at 3:20 and only saw the beverage cart once and it was on hole 3. Asked about a beverage cart at the turn and they didn't seem to really know what was going on with it or if they were even out.
It is the responsibility of all of us golfers to fix our divots and ball marks every time we play. It really helps the conditions of all courses when everyone fixes their divots and ball marks. Everyone please fix your divots and ball marks - divots especially on the par 3 tee boxes and ball marks on all greens. Thank you, :-)

What a great track. Conditions of the greens nd fairways were terrific. Alden is a semi-hard course The 1st hole and the 18th are the hardest.

Road Trip
Made the 79 mile drive down to Rockford. Nice course, staff was friendly. We had a group of 5 in front of us. We called it in and they came out right away to address the issue. We bought shirts in the clubhouse for a good price. The food wasn't great but not bad either. 4 Stars

Love Aldeen,, great deal thru Golf Now... Course was in great condition considering we really haven't had any real growing weather yet.. The bad is that there are no divot repair seed bottles that have any seed in them.. Also to many knuckle heads that think it is beneath them to rake the trap after getting out of one. Stay home Knuckle heads!!!
