Nice Course
I always enjoy playing Maywood through Golf Now. Course is always in good shape. Staff is always friendly.
This course is a great place to have fun
I just wish it was closer to home. It is a great meeting place for those traveling from eastern KY to meet those traveling from western KY.
Good November Golf
Course was in really good shape considering the time of year and the recent weather. The people there are always great and yesterday was no different. Always a good place to play.
This course has some great golf holes
Excellent golf course and would stop and play anytime I had the chance.
Gem Of A Track
Course is in great shape. Staff was freindly. 19th hole is worth staying around after the 18h holes.
This course has challenging greens
Great weather, beautiful course. Number 9 requires a good drive over water! Number 16 is beautiful also over water.
Course was in immaculate condition
I thoroughly enjoyed my round on Sunday. the course was not crowded, the wind was moderate, and the greens were the best I've played in Kentucky this year.
Love this place!
Me and my husband play golf at Maywood many time a year....we consider it to be our home course. We love the course and the staff!
fun course
Fun course. Fairways and greens are in good condition. Pace of play was 3:15 for 2 players. Facilities / club house very nice
course shape is getting better
The course is getting better but should never cost $50 this year. There were some problems earlier in the season with really bad fairways. They are getting better but there are plenty of bad spots of dirt and dead grass. Not sure what caused all the problems but the course would be a 1000 times better if they tried to fix it. I wonder if the course is under bad management. I noticed way too many pairs playing on a Saturday.
Burned and Hard
I was expecting better. The fairways are browned, burnt and hard. The greens are only a little better. I won't be making the drive from Louisville to play this course again anytime soon.
Course Isn't Far Off
Considering the winter and the condition of some of the other courses in the area I've played this year this course is close to a complete recovery. The fairways still have a few rough areas, but there is more than enough for you to be able to comfortably hit the ball in the fairway and not have to worry about moving it to grass. The greens and tee boxes are in great shape and the course is pretty challenging, I look forward to going back later in the summer after the fairways have come back in completely.
unfortunate circumstances
The golf course is one of my favorites. I have played it many times over the years. Unfortunately there was some winter kill on several fairways, but it didn't take away from the golfing experience. I would still recommend that you play the course. They seem to be addressing the problem.
Always Nice to Play Maywood
Maywood is always a nice place to play. Course fairways were stressed due to rough winter.. Greens were in good shape. An enjoyable Day.
Great track in rough shape
Looks like the winter got the best of this one. It's disappointing, but I'm sure they will bounce back.
Fun course with a little bit of everything.
We had a lot of fun playing this course. There were a few tee shots that require a well placed tee shot. You also had several that you could tee up and let it rip. The fairways were in poor condition. That being said Bermuda isn't doing well any where this year. Unusually long winter and a cold start to the spring have hurt all courses using Bermuda grass. The greens were fairly quick and well maintained. There is sand on almost every hole. The sand is not in real good shape this time of year. Later in the year it'll be a lot better. All in all a great course and a lot of fun. The practice facilities are nice and the staff is friendly.
Nice layout, not a lot of rough
Greens were good but Bermuda fairways still dormant from the cool winter
Early fairway challenges
Early in the year and the fairways were not in good condition.
Courteous players...very good course condition
It has been several months since I last played Maywood. Given the harsh winter every course had endured, Maywood looks and plays exceptional well. Greens are almost perfect. Couple of more weeks and they will be great. Love the layout, however, if you are a female and are longer than 200 yards off the tee box, recommend you play from white tees for little more challenge. Love the par 3s. Bring your bunker game as there are a lot on this course. I can't say enough of about the other players on the course. Very courteous. As a single, I don't expect to play through. Today, two groups offered and one gave me a tip on how to play the next hole. I absolutely recommend this course. They have a really and friendly restaurant and recommend the Turkey, Lettuce, and tomato, which they will make for you.
The course is laid out for aa levels
The course was in very good shape considering the weather that we have had the greens were in very good shape but the Staff was the best I have seen in a long time I take my hat off to the STAFF I think it is great when you arrive at a golf course and you are greeted with a smile from the person getting you your cart to the person taking your money GREAT JOB
