Awesome.. on certain days and times.
Fantastic course if it's an early weekday morning, if you go when you would expect it to be busy it will be unbelievable over booked. They don't manage or marshal well. Great course otherwise.
challenging
good shape and challenging fun to play
Nice Course except for...
I played with my boys and we all liked the course as it posed some challenging holes. Only problem is my boys are big hitters and there's just a lot of doglegs that they often overshoot the turn on their tee shot. For the price, I consider this a good course to play.
This course has lost its way
Not the way I remember this course. Missing 9 holes and they still advertise 27. Very disappointing. Won't go back
VERY POOR CONDITIONED....NEVER WILL GO BACK
They got rid of blue course. It's only 18 holes now not 27 holes.
( not sure if they are building new houses or redoing the course)
There were construction right side (huge) and left side of the course.
We heard and felt bulldozers and construction trucks pounding the ground and beeping next to us as we were teeing off from the first tee, which, course didn't get around to take care of, every time it pounded away, clouds of dusts hit us like a storm.
When we were walking or driving on the cart path, we were welcomed by ants that will climb up on us, hole #2 green was taken over by ants, so we couldn't even putt.( ants probably came from the blue course and loud shake of the ground)
We constantly hit or brushing ourselves due to ants climbing up on us.
We even found ants in our golf gloves.
We heard construction noises majority of the time of our round.
The water hazard didn't even look like water, due to all the dusts and bad stuff made it muddy. ( We truly felt bad for those ducks )
The course was in a bad shape.
We left early.
We all agreed to not to return.....ever!
Should have read current reviews
I wish I read the current reviews. The previous owner passed away and his kids sold out this course. Selling the first 9 holes to build houses when that was the best part of this course. They still advertise 27 holes when it is 18. 10 yards off the greens you run into rocky dirt/sandy patches all over. The greens were maintained nicely however. For what they normally charge compared to what you get I would never golf here. The kitchen is DISGUSTING. It is so dirty I wish I didn't order anything. The floor is old and nasty as well. The food is WAY overpriced for passable food. However the staff is friendly.
Going, going. . . gone.
Have played Lipoma off and on since it's opening years ago. I was shocked to see as we pulled into the parking lot that one of their three nine hole tracks was completely GONE! Now that they are down to 18 total holes they need to adjust their tee times. The wait to tee off was looooong, because they were booking for 27 holes, but only had 18. The saddest part was learning from a course marshall that staff had been informed that the course would be closing within 12 to 48 months. Too bad, it was always a fun track.
Please please don't waste you time and money!!!
This must be by far the worst maintained course in all of golf. Golf now should not be selling tee times for a course that has 6 plus hour rounds. The course makes tee times for people which have already been sold. They accept walk ins in between tee times. They run out of all types of carts. Limpoma firs is well over priced at 30 bucks for walking. I thought it would be a nice view of the surrounding area having a great look at mt. Rainer... but I was wrong. The course is undergoing a sort of tear down there is heavy machinery everywhere. There used to be 3 nine hole courses now only 2 and a construction site. There are no yardage markers except for on the gound in the fairway which plays like rough. You cant see the markers from 20 feet away. The staff does not care that anyone has any complaints nor will do anything to try and make you happy. I stongly urge you not to play here and waste your gas, time and money on this god awful (if you can call it a golf couse) golf course.
Great value
A great value. Pin placements were challenging. Course was in great shape.
Lipoma firs
Played the blue 9 first. No tee markers, no hole direction indicators. Not one rake in any bunker! I was ready to leave but my partners talked me into staying. Played the green, which was very nice. Pace of play was atrocious all day. Over 5 hours is not acceptable, dont care that it was a beautiful day.
Awesome
Never thought carts were allowed on the fairways after and during this rain. Bree s were in excellent condition n rolling fast. Only problem was it rained the whole time but we played right along. Would definitely play again.
The BRICE I$ RIGHT! Dry with fast true greens a must
Could not have been a better experience. Just after a major wind storm and the crew had the grounds perfect and the greens flawless. Golf Now gave us great rates and the counter guy with all his tattoos was very personable. Great time of golf.
Best value in town
The staff is friendly, the course is in great shape and the pace of play can't be beat. This course is the best I've played at this price, I will be playing here every chance I get!
Wet season golf
For the amount of Raih we have had lipoma firs is in excellent condition the greens were firm the course was cart friendly I had a very enjoyable round
Great course to play
I play this one because it drains well, after rain storm.
Only one hole , in the middle of fairway was roped off. Used carts on all fairways. Only draw back is rocks under surface can and will nick your clubs. Do not use your new clubs.
Excellent course
The course is in excellent shape. Fairways are lush, greens are smooth and disease-free, and first cut of rough is thick but manageable. I will be back soon.
Well maintained course, great pro staff
Excellent course, weather was terrific, Arrived early, and was authorized immediate tee time. Food is another great aspect of this golf course. Excellent.
Fun course
Pleasantly surprised. All the info on GN led me to believe it was a nine hole course. Its a great 27 hole course that was in great shape. The greens were punched but I new that coming in. The starter did a great job moving people between the 9s and keeping the pace perfect. Loved it! I want to play it when the greens have healed.
Challenging course
Fun course we'll maintained fairways ,greens had been punched and sanded
a great course for us seniors
27 holes so good to time spacing not rushed
I believe you played the Blue course on the last day it was open.
That 9 is becoming houses already.
