great deal
dues to weather cart path only. enjoyable round. will definitely be back to play under better conditions. 48 degrees at tee off. challenging course. we played from the tips and used every club in the bag. definitely worth the drive out to Rockford. 5 star cousre
ALDEEN HAS SOME GOOD HOLES TO PLAY THAT ARE UNIQUE THERE ARE A FEW RISK/REWARD SHOTS YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE TO GO FOR IT OR LAYUP AND THE GREENS WILL BE A CHALLENGE.
Awesome course!
one of the nicest courses you’ll ever play for under $100! Staff is always friendly and the course is beautiful. I never go through Rockford without trying to play this course!
Pristine Course & Amenities
Enjoyed this course and facilities. Fairways in excellent shape and greens roll true and fast. Staff very friendly. Carts are electric, very nice. Food and beverages top notch. Challenging course but fair if you're on game. Highly recommended!
One beautiful course
I play golf all over Illinois, but have never played at this course until now. What a gem. Lots of hazards but placed well so that you can avoid them. This course is beautiful and well kept.
The only complaint I have is there were geese all over the course.
A Gem To Be Shared
I have hosted friends from out of town on multiple occasions and each time they play Aldeen they are impressed by both the course and the value, even after donating a few balls to the water hazards which plagues us weekend warriors.
A fun and scenic course.
club house was nice, One negative clean and update your bathrooms.
Staff was very nice and friendly, course was in great shape. fairways great.
Greens awesome rolled smooth and true great speed.
Carts are well maintained and zipped along nice.
Overall a nice course, will go back every year. It is a 1.5 hr. drive so that is saying something.

Fantastic experience
This is a great course; you need to bring your A game. Friendly professional staff. One of the best public courses in northern Illinois.
Aldeen - Come play in Rockford
Aldeen is fun but challenging. Even for those of us who have been playing it since it opened. It requires patience and understanding of the layout. I know what to expect from certain areas and lies. I don't play it very often anymore because it will test you mentally. The greens especially are tricky and will frustrate even the best players. The new club house will be nice and it is the nicest golf course in town.
Best Public Course I've played
Aldeen is a wonderful public course. It is challenging and well kept and a great value.
A must play course
If you play upscale courses. You need to go to Aldeen and give yourself a treat.
Outstanding course
It has 18 wonderful holes and makes you think while you play not just grip it and rip it.
Go play Aldeen and when your done. You will tell yourself "i need to come back".

Great Layout
This course has many beautiful holes and the layout of it is awesome. Lots of challenge but also scoring opportunities as well. Great place to play I'll be back for sure. also played 18 in 3 hours so good pace of play on a Monday afternoon

Immaculate course . Lots of water. Challenging. Island green like the players . 18 is similar to18 at the players championship . The course I'd in great condition.
