Great place to stay
Although three greens were a bit damaged maybe because of too much rain or heat, the overall condition of the holes was pretty well maintained.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. I'd love to revisit. :)
Pine Hill - Memphis City course
The course was fine and the staff was very friendly. There were some slow players that would not let you play through but that happens at all courses.
The only real complaint was the carts. They are programmed to not allow you in restricted areas, which is fine, but most of the course seems to be restricted. There are also about 4 par four holes that are cart path only and conditions were NOT wet. Would be better to walk.
Great city course
Course was in pretty shape. A few greens need some work. Will play it again soon.
GPS on all carts
Greens in rough shape. Met a great bunch of older gentleman and played 15 holes with them
Good value
Overall the course was great! The greens were poor for a few holes, but for 15-20 bucks for 9 holes, can’t complain too much! Very forgiving course with no water on the front 9, sand in friendly places, and carts that have GPS. Will 100% be back.
Fast Greens, Water and Hills
Pretty great course for the money. Fair amount of water and trees so the course rewards you for straight, accurate shots. Surprisingly hilly for Memphis so was a good change of pace. Enjoy!
Surprisingly good for this time of year
The course was in much better shape on the last day of January than I expected. It was wet today but it wasn't overly muddy or anything like that. I had a good time and for the price that’s a good course.
Great customer service
I always enjoy playing here. Great staff and the weather always seems to be perfect!
Pace of play
Place of play was worst I’ve ever experienced. The guys in front of us had no golf etiquette. Even after asking if we could play through, they would not let us. It put a downer on our round but I will say, the course in general is great for the price. If we didn’t have to wait 15 minutes between shots, it would have been perfect for a late afternoon impromptu round of golf.
Franklin the Turtle
The greens were majorly slow. I saw a turtle pass my ball but named him Franklin and took him home. He’s now safely eating a small portion of grass nightly. I’d would be willing to rent him out to you for a small fee in order to thin out the greens so I could hole it like the best of em’
